Tangkuban Parahu crater is an interesting destination that everyone in the Bandung area is likely to go. The volcano's main crater is double crater of funnel-shaped cavity as Ratu crater and Upas crater, both are provides a unique opportunity to look down into the huge crater of a volcano. Kawah Ratu, which means "Queen's Crater", is today just a big gray hole which sometimes has a pool of water at its center. Tangkuban Parahu means, in fact, "up-turned boat". This peculiar shape has stimulated the fantasy of the Sundanese people from early times as expressed in the legend of Sangkuriang.

Kawah Putih which means “white crater”, is a volcanic crater located near the town of Ciwidey, This beautiful volcanic crater offers truly incredible panoramic views. Besides the enchantment of natural panorama, the crater has a separate uniqueness that is the color of the crater is always fluctuate, sometimes the color is green apple when the sun heat. But often the color is white with a thick mist above surface of the crater.
